Jody Martin grew up rooted in the land – raised on a large farming operation across Clarendon and Williamsburg Counties in South Carolina. That hands-on upbringing shaped everything about how he does business.
Over the years, Jody built a career in agriculture through the family farm, Clemson Extension Service, and Pee Dee Food Hub, and channeled that same entrepreneurial drive into multiple family ventures, including a wholesale marketing business and the SC AgriBiz Expo.
Today, that passion for serving the Pee Dee community has found a new home at Martin Buildings – Florence, SC’s trusted local dealer for metal buildings and wood sheds.
Cindy has been Jody’s partner in business and in life every step of the way. Beyond her role in the family’s ventures, Cindy spent years as an elementary school teacher in Florence, leaving a lasting mark on countless families in the community. Together, they are active members of Lambs Chapel in Florence, and their faith shapes how they do business every single day.
